Installing OSX on Vmware (7.10 Gutsy)

Hey Guys , im getting very frustrated...

Im running gutsy, have been for the past couple of months. I also use xp occasionally via Vmware to do most of my designing in.

Im toying with the idea to get Osx going on there ... but to date i have had absolutely no luck.

    This is what i have

    p4 3ghz Hyperthreading
    1gb ram
    Ubuntu 7.10

I have a OSX cd (4.86) I have also tried to install it, but Vmware does want to use it.

    any idea's?

    Thank you guys!

Hackintosh is not legal, though technically interesting. And you will encounter problems, since apple does not support your hardware. You may find workarounds, but probably not here.

Oh really ? Never thought of legallity matters.

Since most macs come out with intel chip there are guys who have installed it. Maybe somebody has played with it and can give assistance?

    "Hackintosh is not legal"

    Ummm no.

Their EULA is legal toilet paper. Not valid in many countries and almost certainly invalid in the USA.

A VM is a PC not a Mac. Mac install disk cannot boot unless you use a Hackintosh version.
I still think it's against the EULA.
I don't see a software emulating a Mac on PC, besides PearPC(emulates PowerPC) which is unbearably slow.

There are projects in work that do not require this:
