I am having exactly the same problem with a slightly older kernel. Has anyone figured this out?

    Thanks.

I have the same problem too. I don't know it is helped but I discovered that in root works very well but in common user not.

Re: linux-abi on 8.04 gives segfault

BUMP!! Anyone come back on this.

I have compiled a vanilla 2.6.23.17 and applied the following patch:

    http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index...30&atid=313130

I can get the modules to load but when I attempt to run the binary...

I have it running successfully in 6.06.2 using the linux-source package for 2.6.15.7.

I would really like to get this running on 8.04.

    Assistance is appreciated.
