    Wireless bridge

I am thinking about getting an Xbox360 and instead of being conned out of £50 for a wireless device to use xbox live, I want to do the following:

    Code:
Belkin Router - connected to a pc / internet

               V

Safecom swart-54125 Router - bridging device / AP which is not connected to the internet

               v

xbox connected via ethernet to Router B
I can connect fine to the Belkin Router and access the internet, but I cannot connect/login to the Safecom swart-54125 Router (even in a windows VM with all drivers and tools installed). Do I need the Safecom swart-54125 Router connected to the internet to get this to work or am I doing something wrong?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Cheers
    Cya!
