    Firefox default application.

I want to use Audacious as the default mp3 player in Firefox.

When I select "other" from the preferences/applications list the file browser opens and i have no idea where to find it.

I'm still have no clue how to understand the way Linux stores everything so I don't know where it would be kept. I installed Audacious through "Add/Remove" so it was installed to Ubuntu's default location (whereever that is)

    Any help?

    Re: Firefox default application.

Am replying to this (finally) as it is currently the top google search result for firefox default applications ubuntu.

The directory you're looking for is /usr/bin/. Most programs are placed there by Synaptic.

    Hope this helps someone!
