    T41 Support on 8.04?

    Hey all,

I own a Thinkpad T41 and I have it fully working on 7.10. That did take a lot of work though because of the graphics card. I am hesitant to upgrade to 8.04 because of all the problems that I am having with my desktops 8800 gts.

Are there any T41 owners or people who know of the support who can tell me if I can easily upgrade it. Can I copy my current Xorg.conf file and use it in 8.04 because it is working?

    Thanks,
    Kevin

If you would like to test 8.04 on your machine the best way is to use a live CD and see how well it runs.

If you run dmesg in the terminal and read through it...near the bottom, I believe a link to sourceforge is provided. The site contains driver patches and whatnot for thinkpad models.
