    OCaml on ubuntu 8.04

    Hello everybody,

I wanted to post here on General help, but for some reason my post landed on Desktops.

    Here is my post:

From various sources I have heard that OCaml (Objective Caml) on ubuntu is broken. Does anyone know how well it works now on ubuntu 8.04?

OCaml is in my opinion one of the best programming languages, with extensive libraries. Compiled to native code it is as fast as C++ but much safer and much more productive.

    Regards,
    Martin

    Re: OCaml on ubuntu 8.04

I don't know if it's broken under Ubuntu 8.04 but it works very well under Ubuntu 7.10.
Have you tried installing it?If you did and failed post the error message here.
