    Disk Analyser Problems...

hey all, this isnt a major problem but i think there may be a bug with disk analyser or my partitons may be messed up.

basically the disk analyser is saying that my hard drive has a total hard disk space of 300GB when in reality it is only 238GB when viewing the hard drive in gparted.

Am i misreading the disk analyser or is it becuase i have a dual boot with windows xp which may be miscalculating the disk space ??

    Cheers

    Dan

    Re: Disk Analyser Problems...

ok, an update on my problem. Nautilus is telling me i have 124.8GB remaining whereas the disk space analyser is giving me way over my total hard drive capacity at 272.5 GB. However, Gparted is telling me that the remaining space is 126.04 GB.

As you can see from the picture attached.

Ive thought that this could be due to:

    1. There are bugs within the disk space analyser program, gparted or nautilus

    2. SATA drive support has effected this

Or 3. My partitioning is incorrect somehow

Anyone have similar problems with this???
