    Login and passwords

    How do I completely get rid of the need to login and enter a password for anything at all?
    I am the only one on this computer and no one else will ever have access to it.
    This login and password crap is so annoying.

    goto the gnome panel, System>Administration>Login Window and goto the "Security" tab and check the "Enable Automatic Login" box and type your username in the box below it. Thats it , just click close at the bottom.
