Hi, I'm trying to connect to my library's wireless network but the 'linux setup guide' is a joke (it's just a wpa_supplicant.conf).

Using the wiki guide and the library's instructions I added a wpa_supplicant.conf file like this

and having made sure that I was in fact using the madwifi driver and that the device was called ath0, entered

However I just got some 'ioctl' error and using the -dd option got me this (I believe it goes into a loop after this):

I noticed that WPA was not listed among the H/W encryption support. I don't know if this is important - I'm able to connect in Windows, so it can't be physically impossible...

Can somebody help me tell what's going on/wrong here?
