    Clone Screen

First of all hello and good morning/afternoon/evening.

I'm currently stuck at trying to get my Desktop to clone to my TV.

    This is my xorg.conf
    Code:
    # xorg.conf (X.Org X Window System server configuration file)
    #
    # This file was generated by failsafeDexconf, using
    # values from the debconf database and some overrides to use vesa mode.
    #
    # You should use dexconf or another such tool for creating a "real" xorg.conf
    # For example:
    # sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg

PC screen works fine at 1240x1024. However there's no cloning. If I add for example this line:
    Code:
    Section "ServerLayout"
    	Identifier	"Default Layout"
      screen 0 "Default Screen"
      screen 1 "screen1" clone "screen0"
    EndSection
The cloning works but the screen gets stuck at 800x600@100 or 640x480@101. To top it off with this change MPlayer only works with the x11 video driver.

I tried adding a line to use a 800x600 resolution for the TV but no go. I pretty sure there's something wrong in the xorg.conf, but I can't find it. Thanks in advance to all who reply.

    Have you tried using 'nvidia-settings'?

It has a nice GUI configuration tool.

Well just tried it...TV "worked" (as in it was showing the picture, but in B&W and it kept "jumping", like when you have a barely tuned channel) and my actual screen just plain stopped working.

So I either have to find a way to have both working, or dunno... Thanks anyway, if anyone else (or moffa) have any more ideas, feel free.
