Downloading 32bit on friday (alt CD as want to use LVM) - installed - no issues during install - reboot and started ok.
Used 32 bit over the weekend with no issues and decided I'd rather run a 64 bit OS

So d/l 64bit alternative CD last night - installed - again no issues. Everything worked after reboot.
Installed nVidia drivers and WINE
Been playing my games since with no issues.

Never had such an easy install before.
