Hardy Default Sound Scheme

hi there,

does anyone know how hardy's default sound scheme should look? After I installed hardy, only the login and logout sounds were attributed to files, all of the rest were blank, as per the screen shot, although there are files in the /usr/share/sounds folder that look like they should be used.

also, is there a limitation on the types of files that can be used if you want to customise the sound scheme? i am trying to set a 16 second wav as my login sound but it will not work for some reason, not sure why.
