    Exclamation Volume Adjuster Help

    hi im very happy to get ubuntu up and running, one last mission.

    my laptop (toshiba a215 s7413) has a thing to control audio sounds on the bottom, like an adjuster type thing. now when i move it up and down, its adjusting volume for the headphone jack, when i want it to adjust speakers

    any ideas

    Try right clicking the volume control button and select the track which you want to control. (In my case I use PCM)

    Go to System>Preferences>Sound and select the same device. You should now have control with the slider.

    hmm what do you mean by track. ive examined your steps and they sound logical but i can't choose a track thing.
