[PPC] *buntu 8.04 LTS on Pismo

Is there anybody who has successfully upgraded their Pismo Powerbook (G3) to Hardy? If so, did you have any problems? I just booted the LiveCD, and had to do a "live-nosplash" to get it to boot, and worry what would happen if I upgraded my Pismo.

Also, is KDE4 not available for PPC? I can find no way to get it installed on my Mac. Any knowledge/advice on this front? KDE4 is what I'm mainly interested it! Thanks.

I have successfully installed Hardy on my Lombard and have been updating it regularly to the official release. Everything works fine, though slower than I would like.
I had to use the "nosplash" option with the earlier live cd's but now it just boots right up. I had to download a firmware update for my wifi card but that was no big deal and if you have airport, I don't, you'll be fine I think.
    Good luck

Thanks for the info. Did you have to do anything special to get the boot to work from your hard drive? or just the live CD? Also, any news on KDE4? TIA
