Is it possible to stop the CD autoplay function?

System -> Preferences -> Removable Drives is where it used to be.

I've searched the forums and I've found several solutions that has worked for other people, yet not for me.

The paths (ie "System -> Preferences -> yaddi yaddi"), the tabs, etc. they refer to simply aren't there, at least not on my installation. It's all very strange.

If you open Nautilus (gnome's file browser) and go to Edit -> Preferences then the last tab is Media. In there you can instruct Gnome as to which program to use for CDs or none.
What makes a great open source contributor is not primarily the brilliance of their ideas or importance of their bug, but rather their willingness to see it through to success.
