timcredible Dark Roasted Ubuntu Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Buckeye country Beans: 1,044 Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope	Firefox 3 in 8.04 (hardy heron) in offline mode with usb modem Ok, so I did some searches and found that firefox keeps starting in offline mode for me because I'm using a USB modem (verizon wireless broadband) and networkmanager doesn't recognize it. So, what's the solution to fix this? Can I disable networkmanager and will that fix it? Is there any setting in firefox 3 that can disable it from checking with networkmanager? Thanks.
