Acer Aspire 7520 - Compatibility check.

I plan to buy a new laptop in the next couple of months and have been narrowing down the possible candidates to an Acer Aspire 7520 (the 1.9 Mhz model with 2 GB). The nForce 610M chipset and the GeForce 7000M (hopefully) shouldn't be a problem, but what about the InviLink wireless? Does anyone have first-hand experiences with this wireless chipset?

I'm also open for alternative suggestions, but the 17" display is a requirement. There's little to choose from in the under $1000 / €700 category (at least in Europe), unless I go with a smaller display.

I'm using the laptop now, with the specs you described. I wrote a thread about it, but here is what you do in Hardy:

Graphics card - Install binary Nvidia drivers - I did it using Envy.

    Sound - Detected by default.

Wireless - A bit of effort to get working, but it works. See the instructions on the thread I wrote.
