As the title of the e-mail suggests, I know nothing about the technical side of ubuntu, and am having problems connecting to the internet via a wireless connection. I am using an Intel PRO Wireless 3945 ABG network connection, and whilst ubuntu recognises the wireless network I need to connect to, it won't let me actually connect to it. It is a WEP 128 passcode thing (which I have input correctly) and the ipconfig says this:
lo no wireless extensions.
eth0 no wireless extensions.
wmaster0 no wireless extensions.
wlan0 IEEE 802.11g ESSID:"" Nickname:""

Can anyone shed any light on what can be done? If you need any more info then please let me know and I will get it for you.
Many thanks,
Ben
