Pidgin Shows All Buddies as Offline

    Pretty self-explanatory.
I know they're not all offline.

you have no friends, or they're all hiding from you (invisible set on their side)

    Nope.
I have 53 people on my friends list and most of them (if not all) are using the official Windows one.

And they are in different time zones so none of them could be all offline at the same time.

And even the MSN bot (smarterchild, it's fun messing with him) is offline.

Visit the Pidgin forums or file a bug on their site.

how recent is your pidgin version? i'm on a fairly new 8.04 install (pidgin version 2.4.1), and have folks showing up as online, offline, idle, etc.

back when i was using the "official" yahoo and msn clients, i noticed them doing updates regularly. even when i used trillian, i ran across "invisible" msn contacts talking to me (which i didn't think was possible using msn, at least not back then)
