Wine, PulseAudio, and Audacity-like programs

I'm trying to get Wine and Audacity-like programs to work with PulseAudio.

I tried padsp winecfg but after I hit enter I wasn't sure where to go next.

Also, is there any way to get Audacity, or programs like amsynth to work with PulseAudio? If not, how do I turn off PulseAudio?

Wine works for me via both ALSA and OSS (wrapped through padsp). Have you followed the steps over at http://www.pulseaudio.org/wiki/PerfectSetup?

PulseAudio rocks if you can get it set up. :>
