Tool to Create file with Burned in Timecode (BITC)
I'm looking for a tool that will create a video file with burned in timecode.
Here's my scenario.....
- I have captured a load of DV footage as MPEG2 files.
- I want to transcode these files to H.264 MPEG4 files
- I want the MPEG4 files to have timecode from the MPEG2 in vision (burned in, BITC, whatever you'd like to call it)
- The timecode should be frame accurate from the GOP information within the original DV sourced MPEG2 files.
I've spent some time searching Google for a solution, but not found anything. A couple of things that might work on Windows, such as DV Media Player (http://www.dvmp.co.uk/) which at least displays timecode information during playback.
Any linux options?
