Like so many here, I upgraded to Hardy this afternoon. Because all the mirrors I tried were getting hammered (I couldn't get > 10k/s), I decided to download the i386 alternate CD and do a dist-upgrade from that, telling it not to get the latest updates from the internet.
Now, whenever I reboot my computer, I need to login twice from the GDM. The first time, the screen goes black and still shows the GDM mouse pointer, then a few seconds later I hear the bongos again and the GDM is back. Logging in the second time, I get the blue screen instead (I had changed the background colour to blue), and my mouse changes to the one with my theme, and it logs in fine.
I am still trying to get the rest of the updates, but it is slow going with today's internet congestion =/
