    Installing thunderbird

    Hey yall, just needed a quick guide or suggestions on how I install thunderbird. I have the .tar.gz file downloaded from mozilla.com. How do I go about installing it? As a side note, I have searched for where firefox is installed, and am getting nothing on my results returned. Any advice?

    I would suggest using Ubuntuzilla. Read over this > http://ubuntuzilla.wiki.sourceforge.net/ > works great.
