Can anyone tell me how to (If possible) repair my wlan connectivity and restore my wireless settings back to their default settings. From in Ubuntu.
Or even do the above from the Ubuntu live-cd.

Does it says you need to use restricted drivers?
What card you have? Depending on the card there are different tutorials, if at least you can use the ethernet card to get online it will be easier
