    xrandr Artifacts

    Hello everyone,

I'm running xrandr on a Gen2 Macbook. The DVI-D output is connected to a Dell 2408WFP monitor. I'm using xrandr such that the external monitor is --right-of the laptop monitor.

My problem is that I get two lines on the external monitor (one near the bottom, one near the top). The lines change corresponding to what's on the screen. It's like there is a 1 pixel high line sampled from somewhere else on the monitor and being displayed in the wrong spot.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

I've got a similar issue. I haven't yet found an answer yet anywhere. I have noticed that it's not always got the artifact. Sometimes (after a restart) the problem goes away.
