Line6 Variax software

HI everyone
I am very new to Ubuntu and am very impressed but I am trying to install Line6 variax Workbench software using wine and am getting the following error message
Bad .INF file 16sm.inf
hence the software will not run after installation.
Any help/suggestions Very greatfully received

I haven't tried this. I have no real computer skills. Perhaps you can fiddle with it and post back?
