Nintendo DS - Your Top 10/5/3

It feels like the NDS has been out forever, but there are still lots of great games coming out for it. Just a few days ago the remake of Final Fantasy 4 was released.

So, I was just curious, what are you favorite games for the NDS?

    Mine are:
    1. The World Ends With You (Action RPG)
    2. Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (adventure)
    3. Another Code (adventure, I guess)
    4. Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles - Rings of Fate (Action RPG)
    5. Final Fantasy Fables - Chocobo Tales (bunch of mini games)
    6. Luminous Arc (Strategy/RPG)
    7. Pokémon Diamond (Come on, it's pokémon!)
    8. Trauma Center: Under the Knife 1 & 2 (medical simulator thingy)
    9. Summon Night - Twin Age (Action RPG)
    10. Dragon Quest Heroes - Rocket Slime (adventure)

    Any recommendations for me?

I guess I don't play enough games, I don't have a top ten for my DS. I do have a top 5 though.

    1.) Mario Kart DS
    2.) Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
    3.) New Super Mario Bros.
    4.) Pokemon Daimond/Pearl
5.) Bubble Bobble Revolution ( though I only play the classic on it )

That's why I put "10/5/3". I just want to see what games people like. It doesn't matter if they make an enormous list or just mention a few games.

You know, people have said that Castlevania for DS is so awesome, yet I haven't gotten around to try it. I don't know if you've played the ones for NES, but if you have, what makes Castlevania: DoS different from those games (because they really sucked )?

Hahaha, my poor DS only has 5 games... But I feel I choose them very, VERY carefully, as I don't have oodles of cash to spend.

    1. Phantom Hourglass
    2. Mario Kart DS
    3. Final Fantasy III
    4. New Super Mario Bros.
    5. Animal Crossing: WW

Flashcarts are awesome. If you don't feel like paying $80 for a handheld game (Swedish prices) a flashcart is a great option.
Anyway, is Animal Crossing any fun at all if you don't have access to a wireless connection? I used to play it on Gamecube, but after a hours it got really boring.

Indeed, flashcarts are great. Although wow, $80 each game. Isn't that bit too steep? o.o Or am I missing something very important?

    1. The World Ends With You (Best DS battle system ever! )
    2. Hotel Dusk: Room 215 (Adventure Game)
    3. Pokemon Pearl (Need I say more?)
    4. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (Hold it! xD)
    5. Geometry Wars: Galaxies (Truly addicting)

Oh, well I remember liking the ones for the NES as a kid. Not my favorite games, but I liked them. I also liked the one for the playstation, Symphony of the Night or whatever it was called, as well as Harmony of Dissonance for the GBA. That said, I like 2d platformers.

I've been looking into getting a flashcart for some time, they look realy awesome!

And I really liked AC:WW. I don't play it much anymore, just because it does get boring after a while. I mean, tyhere's a lot to do. I have the AC for GC as well, but I like AC:WW just because it's like having my own little neighborhood in my pocket, and there's always something to do like collecting items and growing gardens and radishes and things, as well as upgrading your house.

It really is a lot more fun than it sounds, but I don't think I'd pay ~ $80 for it! lol

Well, they're around 500 Swedish "kronor". The exchange rate right now is around 1 USD = 6 SEK. So 500 SEK is $80.

Seeing as how I loved Another Code, I figured I would enjoy Hotel Dusk too, but that game is just too slow and too hard for me. xD I don't know if I'm just dumb, but somehow I got stuck in my god damn room for ages before I consulted a guide, all because I forgot some little menial detail.

Hmm, then maybe I'll give it a try.
