My dad won't buy me Savage 2, he's afraid of his credit card being hacked although he probably knows the chance of that happening is 0,01 %

I only buy if I know it will work in Wine/CoG. I rarely buy games though. My last purchase was Team Fortress 2, and even then I haven't played it enough to give me a reason to get another game.
If I can't get it on my PS3 and it doesn't work in Wine I normally buy it play it through in 3-4 days in Vista and then boot back into Ubuntu for a couple more months. Flog it on Ebay but I'm more into multiplayer face to face.
As long as the web site is secure then the odds of being hacked is low,but still,to each his own.Look for the little lock on Firefox to see if the site is secure, like this.
anyway,Yes I still buy windows games but only a few like cod4,and cod4 works though wine
Does anyone know if cod4 works on the new crossover games??

I understand what you mean about how money talks and that if a bunch of people started to buy games for Linux that ga e devs would start making more games for it. I am honestly more of a console gamer myself because my PC is not all that great, but I typically try to stay awaw from Windows games because I have a hard time getting a lot of them to work in Wine, but the problem is that there really are not that many AAA titles that were designed for Linux. I think that a dev should make a "Games for Linux" campaign just like the "Games for Windows" thing that MS has going right now. It would be very unlikley, but I can dream, cant I?
I don't have any consoles
I only buy Windows games if:
They work well in Wine
or
I can't live without it (SimCity 4, but it works in Wine now )
I'll probably be buying Spore, whether or not it works in Wine.
