    cursor behind wine window

    heya
i just updated to the latest wine and i get this weird problem.
when i start any 3D wine stuff (i do it in a virtual desktop) my cursor seems to be behind the wine window, you can click on the options/buttons/bars etc. but you just have no idea where the cursor really is, i didn't have this problem with the older wine version
i know its a silly problem lol
    thanks!

    Re: cursor behind wine window

Just a thought: perhaps you need to allow the window manager to control the windows (a setting in winecfg, under the Graphics tab).

Also: one of the changes in wine 0.9.57 is related to cursor-blanking (a lot of games had 2 cursors, but now work properly). Perhaps there's something in your setup keeping the cursor from being updated properly (when changing from desktop to game-window for example). Do you have the same problem in fullscreen mode?

Does the problem go away with compiz disabled?

    heya
    cheers for reply
but unfortunetly my cursor still goes behind the window even with the option checked/unchecked and killing compiz doesn't help

my games do not work at all with fullscreen mode on
it always says i don't have the directX 9.0c
i think it's because i have 2 monitors so it gets confused, but i donno hehe

do you reckon theres anyway of getting back the old wine? or would you not recommend it?

    Thanks!
