I was a big fan of all the John Titor stuff years ago. However, most of the stuff he has predicted has not come true. There were no "Waco-type events" over the past few years. He said 2004 would be the last year for the Olympics, and we had the winter Olympics in 2006. The Wikipedia article used to have a huge thing debunking him on every aspect; I don't know if it still does. The man didn't even mention anything about global peak oil or September 11th.

It is fun to read his stuff though, and I do enjoy it. But it's all fiction.

John Titor was just science fiction. The ones who believed him, were counting on their child-time fantasy to determine whether he was speaking the truth or not.

That guy should've become an author, he's good.

Considering his technical knowledge, he probably was linked somehow to IBM.
