Hi Group,
I've got vmware running on my ubuntu gutsy. Unfortunately the guest OS does not see my CD-drive. VMware is set to autodetect the drive. How can I get this working?
Thanks,

One time I had this issue and all I did was enter CTRL-C and it started the drive.
That's all I can think of at the present moment.

oh, solved it myself. in vmware menu VM -> "removable devices" i had to select the cd to connect it - that's all and now it works. dumb me ...
I didn't know the CD was a USB drive... shame on me. <smile>
