    Can anone here recomment some good modern looking tango icons? I'm using gtango right now and they're a bit. . .off so to say.

    Have you tried Crashbit? They are very suggestive of Tango.

    Nothing too special here, just showing off my panel setup. I find one panel isn't enough, but having a panel at the top and another at the bottom creates too much mouse travel.

    I wonder, what's the ultimate panel setup?

    What is that on the lower right? What do you use as a panel?

    And oh, do I need compositing for gnome-do's edges to be rounded?

    Yes, use compositing for best results with GNOME Do. The thing in the lower right is my non-expanded, auto-hiding panel with only the notification bar.
