Quad Shot of Ubuntu
I've attached a screenshot of the "black box" behavior, as requested by another poster. It's quite random. The jpeg on the right renders, but the one on the left doesn't. Clicking the linkshows the image correctly, though. There are also instances of the image being improperly placed, filling only the top half of the box, or other images from cache (not related to the page) appearing in random spots.
Just Give Me the Beans!
There is virtually nothing I don't like about Firefox, in any OS.
What I cannot stand, is the friggin' download window that pops up every time I initiate a download. It's not too bad when doing one file, but drives me to distraction with multiple downloads.
What does alleviate this considerably, is an addon called DownThemAll!. Much less intrusive, and it uses MD5 Checksums where available.
Otherwise wouldn't choose any other browser.
