    There is no reason it should not work. Did I mention that BlueProximity has now made it into Hardy Heron? You could download that package directly and it should install on Feisty and Gutsy without a problem. The python-support dependency was build-time only and was a mistake in the old .deb file.

    why blueproximity doesn't apear in synaptic or in add/remove programs?!

    that's not even my phone it's my wife's computer..
    amd 4-core cpu,dual geforce gts 450 in sli mode, 8 gigs of ram. / on 80 ssd drive, home on a 1tb sata drive, 4 tb sata drives for storage

    spdtool doesn't show me anything for the device...

    its a Samsung Blackjack II successfully paired, but no luck on finding with finding an open channel. Anyone get it to work with this phone?

    Its'a all configured, and the system tray icon is working like a charm....BUT, mu PC doesn't execute the commands to lock and unlock the screen. I only see the system tray icon changing the color, but the command dont execute...

    Can someone plz help me?

    iRule: Uninstall will work with synaptic as packages installed (also manually) will always appear there.

    Yes, it is a Hardy package but on the .deb on the website should also work with Feisty and Gutsy. Just download it and Install it via
    sudo dpkg -i filename.deb

    If you say commands are not executed are you sure those commands work if you start them manually from the console? Like locking/unlocking with the wrong command? Please try that.

    If phones don't show anything with sdptool browse you could try if they are more verbose if you set them to visible mode in your phone's bluetooth settings. This is just a try. of course after finding the phone and a usable channel you can switch off visibility on the phone.
