    On Windows or Linux?

    (Opera user here, move along...)

    <edit>
    Never mind. It adds "resource:" to the DOM, which could be used by scripts.

    a lot of the slashdot comments are saying this is not that serious

    http://it.slashdot.org/comments.pl?s...4&cid=22365538

    sounds like it can only read the firefox default prefs file.

    also it is not a new bug in 2.0.0.12, so there is no point in staying with an old release.

    Can install the NoScrpits plugin for Firefox & Swiftweasel which should kill the problem dead.
