i did the same week. only had to wait because that evening i was flying out to the west coast.

i'm going to undo it though when 3.0 is released then jailbreak again once it's been pwnd

Yes I have, actually I just jb my iphone with the new OS 3.0

I can sync using VirtualBox, but I'd wish an Ubuntu app.

Do they have a version of QuickPwn out for Windows? I remember they got the Mac version out really quickly. If it's out, then I might install 3.0 and then jailbreak it again.

I have an iPhone 3G. Thinking how to trade it for something else. It simply doesn't work for me since I have switched from OS X (Snow Leopard) to Ubuntu (9.10). It is too proprietary and, therefore, useless. Not saying that AT&T's coverage sucks so badly.
