A thing discovered and kept to oneself must be discovered time and again by others. A thing discovered and shared with others need be discovered only the once.
This universe is crazy. I'm going back to my own.
Well, I'll turn 71 in May with a little luck. I'm actually trying to survive long enough to witness the apocalypse in December. The party has already been planned and some friends and myself will be bundled up out in the back yard with beers and snacks waiting for the event. I'm using Stellarium on my Ubuntu machine searching for any heavenly disturbances which might signal our impending demise. I will wear clean underwear on that night in case some of the neighbors survive. I wouldn't want them to see my bloated flyblown corpse in dirty skivvies.
Otherwise, I love Ubuntu and the thrill a minute process of fixing the little things that break following each new install. At my age each version number reflects a milestone in my survival and I'm eagerly awaiting 12-04 LTS so I can relax for a while. Some days it's nice to just sit back and listen to your arteries harden.
Oh yeah, get off my lawn!!
I am 29. I use Ubuntu 11.10 right now and used 10.04 previously.
56. I use Ubuntu for everything. Ubuntu IS my operating system. Gave Windblows the flick when I first install Ubuntu 8.04

i'm 18 and i use ubuntu to surf the web, listen to music, watch movies, word processing and a little programming
15, and use it for everything. Including playing games (gotta love Wine 1.4)
I'm 29 and I use Ubuntu as a home server & media center (the box lives behind my telly) to provide central services like backup to my windows desktop and laptop.
I think a self-configuring distro targeted at home servers would be very interesting. An open-source challenger for MS Home Server that could be setup by anyone (within reason!) would be an amazing project but well beyond my skills.
i'm 34 , and i use Linux "ubuntu" for home use and like server for card sharing, i'm in love for this OS
and i use windows juste for one thing, "GAMES!!"
I will be 60 this year and using Ubuntu for last 7 years. I am in a job since Jan 2010 and could hardly visit ubuntuforums but keep Ubuntu updates on my blog.
I switched to Ubuntu 12.04 from 10.04 since last Thursday on my office Laptop and every thing is running well.
