[SOLVED] What happened to my large mouse cursor?

I used to have an earlier ubuntu - not sure what version - with the ability to set the size of the mouse pointer in System/Preferences/Mouse. Now that I have 7.10, that option is gone and this tiny cusor is really annoying. Can anyone help me?

7.10 here and mouse pointers are in system ; preferences ; Appearance and click on customize . Appearance Preferences ; your theme will be highlighted , customize is at the bottom on mine . Hope this helps
