Redhat has been succesfull with its ipo

Even that after they went public they started taking the desktop user out of its strategies.

I bet Canonical could have better results venturing in stocks with its wide desktop audience and looking at the matter that people with windows xp pc's are not longer/postponing migrating to Windows 7.

I really think its the time.

As has been stated already in this thread, Canonical is a privately held company, with no plans of going public. THread closed. as this thread is two years old.
