Talking MMOG/RPG that works in Ubuntu

Hello, I would like to know, what online games have you played in Ubuntu and what tool did you use to make it work (e.g. WINE, Cedega etc..)

    example format:
World of WarCraft - Cedega 4.4 etc..
some notes here: (how to, known bugs, etc...)

    thanks in advance

Re: MMOG/RPG that works in Ubuntu

    Hi

I have played WoW with Cedega 4.x, there were/are a few issues but they can be worked around by changing config files. I can't remember the details but I got it all working using posts on the cedega forums (http://transgaming.org/forum/).

I am at the moment playing SWG, again on Cedega and that is working fine without any config changes needed.

There is a list of supported games here: http://transgaming.org/gamesdb/

    Hope it helps

I've played WoW using cedega 4.4.x and it ran much better than I expected, only problem was a targeting bug that was easily fixed by changing a config file.

Also, I've played EQ a while ago with an older version of cedega and that was very stable as well.

I'm looking to try guild wars out becasue I've heard it runs great on cedega, but my account got messed up due to an exploit and NCSoft said I'd have to pay $50 again and start over, so meh at that for now

    Dofus

Works nativly in you webbrowser, free for 7 days.

    Flash 7 is needed.

Nice 2D graphics, not very expensive.

about MU Online, I read on other forums that Mobius Philippines are trying their best to run MU Online in Linux, I think they have successfully played MU Online but the only problem is that it disconnects to the server every 5-7mins or so...

It's a shame Guild Wars is not completely fixed yet I await that to be playable with Cedega (it works... but very poorly currently).

Oh, and I was personally able to play Ragnarok Online a while ago with cedega.
