how can I develop games on linux?

I would like to program games on Linux, but I would prefer to do the code real thing, instead of using something like game maker or rpg maker. But I have not been able to find any tutorials on how to program these games, or even coding them on Linux.

Do any of you know where I can find a developing program for opengl and a tutorial on how to program linux games?

well you wont find m/any tutorials on programming games for linux or windows or anything else, what youll want to look up are general 3D programming for opengl on linuc, and a quick google will show you some places to start
