Dell m1530 Remote

Has Anyone been able to get there m1530 remote to work with lirc or something similar?

You don't need to use lirc or anything. The remote is hard-wired to work as a keyboard. So the up button sends an up keypress, the down button sends a down keypress, etc

It is quite nice, actually. Nothing to configure--it just "works".
