System requirements for Doom3

I can play the Doom 3 maxed out with 16x AA and 1280x1024 with out a problem on Linux.......Windows XP I have to play the game at 1024x768 and only in high res with no AA....WTF.Whoever said windows is better for gaming?????

Not for someone who has tons of money to spare so that system requirements don't cause problems, those people can generally afford a lot more games anyway.

Though I'm happy to hear that Doom3 will run so well on Linux, I asked somewhere else before (can't remember where) and someone told me that it went about 10FPS slower than on Windows, maybe he thought I meant on Wine... But on the other hand he also said Windows Vista was far faster than Windows XP on any hardware, so maybe he was just an idiot who refuses to accept the truth
