I want to set up a website (i don't have a server, im using GoDaddy) to where i can blog (like blogger/wordpress) and where i can have normal individual pages. I don't wanna use wordpress because i want to use my own layout.
Any ideas?

PS: I'm going to use Dreamweaver.

If your webspace has PHP/CGI/whatever, there are a couple of blog packages you could install, including the one used for WordPress (which *does* allow custom styles).Originally Posted by Acglaphotis

Normally, the blog packages provide their own editor. That's by the way, one of the main ideas to start a blog: To get rid of having to use a website editor. So I don't know if there are any "compatible" packages. Of course, you can write your own.

It is open source, you can do anything within your abilities. Using a WYSIWYG editor is not the best way to do this. In fact, it isn't the best way to do anything..
