false. Unfortunately, the scanner half of my Epson Stylus CX4400 Printer Scanner Copier does not work with Ubuntu. Don't use it every day, but right now, I have to scan in som older photos of my family, so I have a machine sitting next to my main rig running Windows with the scan software. (surprisingly, the afformentioned sidekick rig only needs a ram upbrade to be more useful to me than my main rig. As soon as I get the money, I will be switching boxes.)
