True - last one about a year ago after riding my bicicle down a steep hill as fast as I could. Hit a BUMP at the bottom, wiped out, got up, dusted off, got back on the bike, and continued riding home (about 1.5 miles away). It was dark and I didn't realize I had nasty road rash all the way up my left arm, on my left knee, and that I had taken a gouge out of my left pinky (the nuckle was exposed) until I got halfway home. That was when the pain started setting in, and it hurt.

True, for the aforementioned injury, but I had stitches when I was 4 because I rode a tricycle between two parked cars and cut my left knee on the licence plate. I only remember this because A) it left a scar and B) they didn't numb me up at all, and it hurt like hell when they put the stitches in (but it did teach me to beware of licence plates).
