    Question VM copy and paste

    ok i turned on the copy and past feature on vm were on but it wont work! i copy something in ubuntu and when i try to paste it into the virtual machine its as if nothing was copied, like the paste button is disables...

    A work around is to create a shared folder on the host and browse to it from the quest...

    ^ how do i do that?

    btw my machine is private does that make a difference?

    An example would be to create a folder in your home directory

    right click on folder select share...

    Once the vm machine is up and running you can browse to this folder...

    another way would be to create a mapped drive and then this will be listed as a drive that you can access from both operating systems...
