A work around is to create a shared folder on the host and browse to it from the quest...
^ how do i do that?
btw my machine is private does that make a difference?

An example would be to create a folder in your home directory
right click on folder select share...
Once the vm machine is up and running you can browse to this folder...
another way would be to create a mapped drive and then this will be listed as a drive that you can access from both operating systems...
What virtualization software are you using first off.
Gosh, I'm using VMware Server, v1.0.4.
