    Output to TV

I would like to output my myth box to my tv, should it be as simple as plugging it in and getting a picture or do I have to change or make a config for my pvr-150, because I plugged rca to rca and saw nothing so I thought it was worth it to ask a question. Sorry for the stupid question, completely new to mythtv...

    Hi!

I think you should use your graphic card for outputting your myth to a tv.

In settings and mythbuntu you can choose proprietarian drivers, in there you can configure your graphic card. But for my mythtv I didn’t need to do any changes in to my settings It worked right away with s-video.

pvr150 can not output only input via svid and rca. PVR350 has video out.

You need tv out on your graphics card.
Nothing is ever easy, but if it is difficult you must be doing it wrong.

Thanks for the reply, just to verifiy, in order to get audio to the tv, I need to have a 3.5 to rca, correct?
