Any chance you could PM/Email me a copy of the tutorial? Or have you posted it elsewhere?

    Hi everyone,
what a long discussion (101 pages!). Is this tested on ubuntu 10.04? What is the latest version of ubuntu that is tested? isn't there any pdf version of last completed tutorial? or where is it in these 101 pages?!

    Thanks a lot

    Question Permissions!

Hoping someone that is using this configuration can help me out. This issue is driving me a lil nuts.

I have a folder in ldaphome that is a central place for shared documents for all users and groups. I want everyone to be able to edit/change/save these documents. However, the permissions change every time someone edits!

How can I set the permissions so that they are stagnant and do not change based on the last user that edited the document?

    Thanks in advance.

I had the same problems with my server. The best solution I found was to share the directory via samba, so I can set the permissions via fstab and smb.conf. Works fine now with both WinXP and Ubuntu clients.

I also havent mounted the share in /ldaphome but in /mnt.

    Hi All,

I been running this config for a while and yesterday I stupidly did a sudo apt-get upgrade and now my windows 7 client machine cannot log in to the domain. I get the trust relationship has failed error.

    Any ideas how to proceed?

    Please help! Thanks!
