Re: Beryl on Gutsy
go to synaptics and remove al compiz items.
then im guessing adding the Feisty beryl Repo. just curiosity, why do you want Beryl? i was thinking of going back to Beryl, actually going back to Ubu 7.04.

Re: Beryl on Gutsy
well Beryl has much more better themes and looks then compiz, besides that Emerald theme was my only weakness and with gutsy i was left without both. Without which ubuntu isnt the way, i like. I guess i should go back to 7.04 for a while as well... There is nothing special that i couldnt do in 7.04 and am able to do in 7.10...

Re: Beryl on Gutsy
i have emerald themes.
workng with fusion. i also agree about the looks, i miss the wobbily windows from Beryl, these CF ones are really...suckish. its possible to have Emerald Themes, if my brain remembers right. ALt-F2 compiz --replace -c emerald

Re: Beryl on Gutsy
Then why don't you use the Emerald Theme Manager?
It can installed using:- Code:
sudo apt-get install emerald Code:
emerald --replace

Re: Beryl on Gutsy
This is correct, and skymera, you can adjust the properties of the wobbly windows to get them just how you want. Do you have compizconfig-settings-manager installed?
